Nothing down, and the £1.40 every pound of credit costs to clear

£1.40

What one pound of credit costs in expected losses before any of it can leave the account, at thirty-five times the bonus. Forty times puts it at £1.60. The pound of credit is still only a pound.

Not one of the offers printed above holds a Great Britain licence. Outside that licence a British player has none of its protection: Gamstop Online cannot shut the door, the ten-times limit on bonus wagering does not bind the operator, and no British complaints body will take up a dispute. You must be 18 or over to open an account anywhere in this rack.

Every figure in the rack is a term the operator itself publishes, read on 14 October 2026. The operator's terms in full are the ones that bind you.

Worked with four pence in every pound retained by the house, slots counting and nothing else, and the obligation finished inside its window. Thirty-five is the multiple worked here, which sits at the bottom of the thirty to sixty this trade is recorded at. Thirty-five times twenty is £700 of staking, and £700 of staking is expected to take £28.00 while the credit behind it is £20. The credit therefore runs out £8.00 before the counter does, and no surviving pound is left for the bottom row to price. Divide the same sum by the credit and the unit figure in the hero appears: £1.40 of expected loss for each pound handed over. The right-hand column leaves both of those alone and lowers the multiple to the British ten. A Great Britain licence is the one thing no site of this kind has, and the right-hand column is what that absence costs. Averages, over many attempts.

01

Nothing down is a search term, and £20 is the usual floor

£20 is the least an offer of this kind will accept before it credits anything, and some cashiers write that as €20. A credit for nothing paid in is rare at this end of the market. That is the first thing this section has to say, because twenty-five guides hang under a phrase the trade mostly does not honour.

What it does offer is a match on each stage, at rates running from half the deposit up to double it, and a total of three times the deposit across three separate payments is not unusual. Those rates put £10, £20, £30 or £40 into the account on the minimum deposit. Alongside the cash come spins, in batches of fifty or a hundred, worth ten pence each where a value is published at all.

Then the obligation. Thirty-five times the bonus at the cheaper end of this trade, forty at the dearer, and a forty that reaches spin winnings as well as cash is common enough. Ten times is the ceiling for a British licensee. Every guide in this section is the same sum worked on a different headline, and both figures are printed in each of them.

Credit given up before any money arrives is a British product, and the whole of its range is small: five to ten pounds of cash, five to twenty spins reaching fifty now and then. Those are market habits rather than rules. Which means the honest job of this section is to say what each headline turns into, on the terms a reader can actually reach from this page.

02

One pound of credit, priced at every multiple that exists

£1.40 is the figure in the hero and the table below is where it comes from. Work the whole section in units of one pound and the size of a headline stops mattering, because the multiple does all the work.

What a single pound of credit owes and leaves at each multiple, with four pence in every pound retained. Multiply by the credit for any rung in this section. Press arithmetic, the terms read in October 2026
Multiple on the pound Staking it owes Expected loss Expected to remain Rounds at 10p
None attached £0.00 £0.00 £1.00 0
10 times, the limit under a licence £10.00 £0.40 £0.60 100
25 times, the break-even line £25.00 £1.00 £0.00 250
35 times, the cheaper line £35.00 £1.40 −£0.40 350
40 times, the dearer line £40.00 £1.60 −£0.60 400
60 times, the recorded high point £60.00 £2.40 −£1.40 600

Read column three as a price and the fourth as what is left after paying it. Twenty-five times is where the two meet: the expected loss equals the pound, and the pound is gone. Below that line something survives, and above it the shortfall is settled out of the reader’s own money.

Thirty to sixty times is the pattern recorded for sites outside the British licence, and the source for it is a trade publication rather than a regulator. Both multiples priced on this page sit inside it. Nothing in this section can make that arithmetic come out differently, which is why these guides print a price instead of a verdict.

03

Six guides work the cash rungs

£10, £20, £30 and £40 are the cash figures a £20 deposit reaches at these match rates, and four of the six guides below sit on them. The other two cover a headline that is almost always something else, and a common case that holds right across the trade.

  • The common case, at casino no deposit bonus. A £30 credit at thirty-five times, which is £1,050 of staking and £42.00 of expected cost.
  • The smallest rung, at free £5 no deposit casino. Five pounds is below the floor this trade usually sets, where it turns up only as fifty spins of play.
  • The largest honest rung, at free £10 no deposit. A tenner at thirty-five times, with the ceiling on its winnings landing at £50.
  • The full match, at £20 free no deposit casino. £800 of staking at forty times, costing £32.00 against a £20 credit.
  • The seven day sprint, at £30 free no deposit. £1,200 of staking inside a week, which is £171.43 every day.
  • The three figure headline, at 100 free welcome bonus no deposit required. Four readings of a hundred, from £4.80 of spins up to £100 of bonus funds.

Two terms decide more than the size of any of those credits. One of them is the ceiling a credit may reach, commonly five times the bonus, sometimes €100 for each batch of spins, and sometimes not published anywhere. The second is the games list, where slots alone is the usual rule, so a roulette round leaves the counter exactly where it was.

04

Seven guides cover the small spin counts

Ten pence a spin is the value that decides a spin offer, and the count only multiplies it. Five spins is two pounds of average return short of forty, and no headline makes that clear. Seven guides take the small counts apart.

One claim this section will not make. Nobody has published whether a free spin counts as bonus money for the British ceiling, so no guide here says the ceiling covers spins as such. The narrower statement holds: when spin winnings are credited as bonus funds, any line attached to those funds is capped at ten under a licence.

05

Five guides handle the counts that run into the hundreds

500 spins is about as large as these totals get, handed out in hundreds across five separate deposits. That is £100 paid in to put £50.00 of stake through the reels, before any wagering line has touched the winnings.

Batching is the term that governs here. A hundred spins may arrive in batches of twenty-five over four days, each batch dying a day after it lands. Another pattern asks for activation within a day and use within three. So a count on a banner is a schedule, and a schedule can close before the count is spent.

06

Four guides sit on the terms that change the answer

Two of the guides below turn on a clause rather than a figure, and two turn on which copy of a slot a site has loaded. Both pairs can move an outcome further than any difference in credit.

A cashier that pays spin winnings with nothing attached does turn up, and on that clause alone it beats what a British licensee at its ceiling would charge. The clause reaches the spins only; the cash beside them carries thirty-five times. Nor is the idea an offshore one: two British-licensed operators work the same way, PlayOJO under SkillOnNet and MrQ under Lindar Media, neither of them attaching wagering to a bonus at all.

On the named games the rule a reader can use is the British one. Under the remote standards a game has to make its payback figure, or the chance of a winning event, reachable before a customer commits to gamble, which puts the number inside the game itself. Publishers issue one title at several different returns, so a default quoted in a press release says nothing about which build a given site has loaded, and nothing obliges a site outside the licence to show the number at all.

07

Three of the twenty-five describe something other than money

Three keys in this section are covered because people search for them rather than because anything is handed over. Each guide opens by saying what the thing is.

  • Free slots no deposit usually means a demo round. Nothing is credited, so there is nothing to price. At a licensed site it still sits behind a verified account, because age has to be settled before a gambling game can be opened even in its demo form.
  • Free daily spins is a schedule rather than an amount. The governing terms are the batch size and the window, so that guide prices a day at a time instead of the total on the banner.
  • Crypto casino no deposit bonus is not a British-licensed product. There is no outright prohibition on a licensee accepting digital currency, and the regulator’s guidance on it still carries its 2021 date with an empty update log. In practice licensed sites do not offer it, so that phrase leads a reader off the licence, and the guide says what is given up.

Cryptocurrency is the method that marks these cashiers out, and a euro account often sits beside it. A UK-licensed site does not offer coin deposits at all. PayPal is the awkward one: its own rules let gambling through only to sellers it has cleared, in countries where the activity is lawful. Settle how the money moves before the deposit, not after.

08

The clock is the one thing the licence makes slower

A slot here may not complete a cycle in less than 2.5 seconds. Where the casino game is not a slot, the floor rises to 5 seconds. Both sit in the remote standards, revised on 12 January 2026, and the second runs the opposite way to most expectations.

Paired bars at six stakes from ten pence to five pounds, showing the least time a hundred pounds of staking can take: 41.67 minutes at ten pence on a slot against 83.33 minutes on a slower non-slot game, falling to 0.83 and 1.67 minutes at a five pound stake.
The least time £100 of staking can take, by stake and by game type. Stake per round across the foot, minutes up the side, at the two minimum cycle lengths the British standards set. Multiply for any rung in this section: the £700 behind a matched £20 stage is seven of these, coming to just under five hours of reels at ten pence a go. Source: the minimum game cycles and the online slots stake limits, read 13 October 2026, with the multiplication done here.

Stake limits cut into the left of that picture. A British slot takes at most £5 a round from a customer aged 25 or over, and at most £2 from one aged 18 to 24, limits dated 9 April and 21 May 2025. They reach slots alone, so the slower game is also the one with no ceiling on its stake.

A ceiling on the stake while a bonus runs, €5 being a figure that turns up, is published by some of these cashiers and by no means all. None of them carries the cycle minimum, the autoplay ban, the ban on turbo and quick spin, the ban on sounding a win where the return failed to exceed the stake, or the duty to put net spend and time played on screen while play is happening. Those are conditions of the British licence and they travel nowhere.

09

A matched twenty pound stage, worked through once

Every guide in this section repeats this sum with its own figures. It is set out here in full so the guides can open on their own numbers.

A matched £20 stage at thirty-five times

  1. Money the stage requires first £20.00
  2. Credit the full match adds £20.00 matched in full = £20.00
  3. Staking owed at thirty-five times £20.00 × 35 = £700.00
  4. Expected cost of the staking £700.00 × 0.04 = £28.00
  5. Credit remaining at the finish £20.00 − £28.00 = −£8.00
  6. Expected cost of each pound credited £28.00 ÷ 20 = £1.40
  7. The identical stage at the British ten £200.00 of staking, £8.00 lost, £12.00 left
  8. One kept pound, on each set of terms None left · £0.67

Four terms sit outside those lines and every one of them pulls the same way. A ceiling on the winnings, which cuts away the large results an average depends on. A games list counting slots alone, so the cheapest rounds count for nothing. A window of seven or fourteen days, which turns an unfinished counter into nothing at all. And the distribution, where a majority of attempts reach zero well before the staking is served.

Questions about the nothing down section

Is anything here available before any money is paid in?
Nothing of the sort is on sale in this bracket. The deposit comes first, at £20 or at €20. Credit handed over for nothing is a British-licensed product, running from five to ten pounds of cash, or five to twenty spins reaching fifty now and then. Each guide says which of the two a given headline describes.
What does a pound of credit cost to clear on these terms?
£1.40 at thirty-five times and £1.60 at forty. A pound of credit at thirty-five times owes £35.00 of staking, and four pence of every pound staked is retained, so the expected loss is £1.40 against a credit of £1.00.
At what multiple is a bonus worth nothing?
Twenty-five times, with four pence in the pound retained. The staking then costs the whole of the credit and the expected balance comes out at nought. Under that line something survives; over it the shortfall is settled out of the reader’s own money.
Does a bigger spin count mean a bigger offer?
Only once the value is known. Ten pence a spin is the usual setting, with twenty pence sometimes and five pence occasionally, so forty spins at five pence is two pounds of stake and twenty at twenty pence is four. The smaller count is the larger offer there.
Which term in this section moves an outcome most?
Whether a win is paid as cash or as bonus money. Fifty spins at ten pence return £4.80 on average, and with nothing to serve that is the whole value, against £2.88 at the British ceiling and nothing at all at thirty-five or forty times.
How long does the staking take at the fastest lawful pace?
A British slot may not complete a cycle inside 2.5 seconds, and where the game is not a slot the floor rises to 5 seconds. So £700 of staking at ten pence a round is 7,000 rounds and just under five hours of reels. Neither minimum reaches a cashier outside the licence.
Can a page here tell me which copy of a slot a site has loaded?
No, and none of them tries. Publishers issue one title at several different returns, so a site can run a game well under the figure in a press release. The British standards put the payback figure, or the chance of a winning event, within reach before anybody commits to gamble, which places the number inside the game.
What is given up by taking an offer of this kind?
The ceiling of ten times. Membership of Gamstop Online. A complaint that has to be done inside eight weeks, and an adjudicator beyond the company. The bar on terms rationing a deposit balance. Identity checks settled before play. Nobody British will hear a dispute about a site of that sort, and the regulator has no power over it.
Which guide should be read first?
The one matching the headline in front of you, because each prices its own rung. For cash, start at casino no deposit bonus. For spins, start at free spins no deposit and then move to the count on offer. The table in part two converts any of them into a price per pound.
